Haryana Government Announces Summer Vacation for All Schools: Detailed Schedule Released

A heatwave alert has been issued across most states in the country, with rising temperatures expected to cause intense heat in the coming days. In light of this, the Haryana government has decided to adjust school timings to help students cope with the extreme weather conditions. From now on, schools in Haryana will begin classes at 7:00 AM, and single-shift schools will close by 12:00 PM. For double-shift schools, the first shift will start at 7:00 AM, while the second shift will begin at 11:45 AM.

Along with these changes in school timings, the Haryana government has also announced the start of summer vacations. All schools in Haryana will be closed for summer break from June 1, 2024, until June 30, 2024. This decision was communicated through a press release, and it is mandatory for all schools to adhere to the new timings and vacation schedule. The government's decision follows information provided by the meteorological department.

Haryana Weather Update:
The next five days are expected to be particularly challenging for Haryana due to extreme heat, with temperatures potentially reaching as high as 46°C. The weather department has issued yellow and orange alerts for various districts. With the change in school timings, students in Haryana are expected to get some relief from the scorching heat.
